Each destination requires its own review. These are planning points, not a promise of eligibility, licensing or tax treatment.

A practical scope for your expansion

Business and jurisdiction brief

Document your intended activity, markets, ownership and operating model so the options can be assessed.

Requirements and document plan

Identify information to collect and the local registration, professional and regulatory requirements to confirm.

Proposal and coordination

Agree the deliverables, local professional roles, fees, exclusions and communication arrangements.

Post-incorporation planning

Identify accounting, tax, administration and renewal responsibilities so setup is not treated as the final step.

What to prepare

  • Proposed activity and target markets
  • Preferred country or location
  • Ownership and management structure
  • Existing company details, if expanding a group
  • Banking, premises and staffing needs
  • Budget, target timing and questions to resolve

Identity and supporting documents are requested through the agreed collection process after the scope is clarified.

Illustrative planning output

A comparison you can act on

For a fictional business considering overseas expansion, a planning brief could compare the proposed entity, local management requirements, first-year and recurring costs, outstanding advice and the next decision for each location.

Your actual deliverables are defined in the engagement. Incorporation, banking, immigration and specialist tax opinions should be listed separately where relevant.

International setup FAQs

Which locations can I discuss with BWMC?

This service covers planning discussions for Singapore, Mauritius and Geneva in Switzerland. For a UAE company, use our business setup service. We confirm the available scope, local professional requirements and responsibilities before accepting an engagement.

Is Geneva a separate country?

No. Geneva is a city and canton in Switzerland. A Geneva setup must be assessed under the relevant Swiss and cantonal requirements, rather than treated as a separate national jurisdiction.

Does BWMC perform every local registration directly?

The delivery arrangement is confirmed in the proposal. Where a jurisdiction requires a local corporate service provider, lawyer, notary or other licensed professional, that role must be identified before work starts. Our UAE tax-agency status does not replace local authorisation overseas.

How do I choose between Singapore, Mauritius and Geneva?

Compare where your customers are, where decisions and work will take place, banking needs, ownership, staffing and ongoing costs. Then review legal and tax implications with the relevant advisers. The lowest incorporation price alone is not a sufficient basis for choosing.

Can I complete the setup remotely?

Some steps may be possible remotely, but this depends on the structure, identity checks, signatures and local procedures. Banking or immigration may involve separate requirements. Confirm any travel or in-person steps before committing.

Does incorporation include a bank account or residency?

No automatic outcome should be assumed. Incorporation, bank onboarding and immigration are separate processes. The relevant institutions assess each application, and the proposal should identify any assistance included.

How much does international setup cost and how long does it take?

A scoped quote follows the initial review. Costs can include registration, local professionals, registered office, administration and ongoing filings. Timing depends on documentation, approvals and the chosen route; we do not quote one universal fee or guaranteed completion date.

Will an overseas company automatically reduce my tax?

No. Incorporation location alone does not determine the complete tax position. Management location, business activity, owners and cross-border transactions need a coordinated review. Obtain advice for the relevant countries before relying on an expected tax outcome.
