Trade Finance Documentation Support UAE
Prepare clear trade information and understand the documents your bank requires.
What this service covers
BWMC supports businesses in reviewing trade cycles, preparing financial information and coordinating documentation for discussions with finance providers. Work may cover letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections or receivables-related facilities, subject to the agreed scope and the provider’s requirements.
BWMC’s advisory support does not make it the lender or issuing bank. Approval, pricing, collateral and instrument wording are determined by the relevant provider. A letter of credit is document-driven; it is not an unconditional guarantee of the goods’ quality or every commercial obligation.

Frequently asked questions
Does BWMC issue letters of credit or lend money?
No. This page describes documentation and advisory support. A bank or appropriately authorised finance provider assesses and issues any facility or instrument.
What is a letter of credit?
It is a bank undertaking governed by its terms, commonly requiring a complying presentation of specified documents. It should not be described as an unconditional promise that every delivery or payment risk is removed.
Does a performance guarantee prevent a contractor default?
No. A guarantee addresses defined payment obligations under its wording; it does not prevent operational failure. The beneficiary must understand the terms and any conditions for a demand.
Can you guarantee approval or a particular rate?
No. Each provider applies its own credit, compliance, security and pricing requirements. We can help you organise the information needed for its assessment.
Why do document discrepancies matter?
Documentary credit transactions are assessed against the instrument’s requirements and applicable rules. Inconsistent or missing documents can affect payment and require resolution with the relevant parties.
